Description

Diflufenican 25 & Bromoxynil 250 is a selective post-emergent herbicide designed to control a wide range of broadleaf weeds in established lucerne. Combining the fast contact activity of Bromoxynil with the residual weed suppression of Diflufenican, it provides effective knockdown of young weeds while helping reduce future germinations.

For best results, apply to small, actively growing weeds at the 3–6 leaf stage when weeds are most susceptible. Early intervention helps minimise competition for moisture, nutrients and sunlight, allowing lucerne stands to maintain productivity and persistence.

Where larger or more advanced weeds are present, Diflufenican 25 & Bromoxynil 250 can be tank mixed with suitable products such as Simazine or Paraquat to broaden weed control and improve overall performance.

Target weeds include wild radish, wild mustard, shepherd’s purse, capeweed, corn gromwell, fat hen, saffron thistle, variegated thistle, ox-tongue and fireweed, making it a valuable tool for maintaining clean, productive lucerne paddocks.
