Description

Metsulfuron Methyl 600 is a highly active Group B herbicide used to target a wide range of hard-to-kill broadleaf weeds in pastures, cereals, fallows, industrial areas and non-crop situations. With strong systemic activity and low use rates, Metsulfuron Methyl 600 is widely relied upon for controlling woody weeds, brush, perennial broadleaf weeds and difficult pasture weeds that are often hard to remove with standard phenoxy herbicides alone.

Absorbed through both foliage and roots, Metsulfuron Methyl 600 moves throughout the plant and works by inhibiting cell division and plant growth. Susceptible weeds stop growing shortly after application before gradually yellowing and dying back over following weeks. Best performance is achieved on actively growing weeds under good moisture conditions.

How It Works

Metsulfuron Methyl 600 is an ALS-inhibiting herbicide (Group B) that stops susceptible weeds from producing essential amino acids needed for growth. After uptake through leaves and roots, weeds rapidly stop growing before gradually dying over time. Its systemic movement allows it to target deep-rooted perennial and woody weeds more effectively than contact herbicides alone.
