Description
Arena II is a medium-fine, mid-dark green turf perennial ryegrass that has good summer growth characteristics for a mid-dark type. The good summer growth makes it an ideal choice for hard wearing situations such as golf tees, fairways, sports fields, tennis courts, home lawns or anywhere that a hard wearing dark coloured turfgrass is required.

Arena II was bred in New Zealand for the Australasian market from elite germ plasm that was screened for year-round growth, disease resistance and hard wearing turf characteristics. Arena II contains a high level of standard endophyte that helps to protect against insect feeding.
Arena II perennial ryegrass can be sown in lawns at 30-50g/m 2 (300-500kg/ha). Use the higher seeding rate for faster establishment. In new sports fields and winter overseeded warm season grass it should be sown at 400-500kg/ha.
