USA Keynote Speaker: Dr. Bill Mahanna
Dr. Bill Mahanna, Pioneer Global Nutritional Sciences Manager, brings over 39 years of experience in the global dairy industry. Raised on a Holstein dairy farm in upstate New York, Dr. Mahanna holds a B.S. in Animal Science from Cornell University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He serves as an adjunct associate professor in the Animal Science Department at Iowa State University and a visiting professor at Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University in Ukraine.
Dr. Mahanna is renowned for his ability to translate complex nutritional science into practical strategies, focusing on improving per cow production and enhancing maize silage yield and quality. His global experience includes working hands-on with dairy producers across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Ukraine, China, and Japan.
Amongst many other accolades, Bill is a member of the American Dairy Science Association and is a charter diplomate of the ARPAS American College of Animal Nutrition. The American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) awarded Bill the Nutrition Professionals award for significant contributions to the field of applied dairy nutrition in 2014.
