Description
2,4-D Amine 625 is ideal for autumn and spring weed control programmes in pasture with an effective weed spectrum on a range of seedling broadleaf weeds including ragwort and thistles. 2,4-D Amine 625 can be tank mixed with Flumetsulam for larger, hardier thistles or where resistance is suspected.
2,4-D Amine 625 is more popular for spring weed control in pastures than ester forms of 24D, because it is less damaging to white clover. 2,4-D Amine 625 is readily absorbed through plant roots. The chemical mimics the action of auxins causing over stimulation of growth and rupture of cells and eventual death of susceptible weeds.
Weeds Controlled in pastures include:
- Docks
- Bindweed
- Caltrop
- Capeweed
- Flatweed
- Spear Thistle
- Thistle
- Wild radish
