Description
General use, year round cover in high rainfall zones
All-Purpose Equine Blend pairs nil-endophyte tall fescue and AR1 perennial ryegrass for a balanced, horse-safe base with reliable regrowth, then adds cocksfoot for drought resilience and white clover for light nitrogen and winter bite. The fescue’s deep roots and the ryegrasses quick recovery give year-round cover without boom-and-bust sugars, while cocksfoot tightens ground cover under traffic.
Choose this for general equine paddocks needing dependable feed, easy establishment and a sward that handles regular grazing.
All grasses contain no harmful endophytes for horses.
All Purpose Equine Blend includes the following:
- Tall fescue (nil endophyte) — deep-rooted, horse-safe, strong summer hold.
- AR1 perennial ryegrass — grazing-safe endophyte, quick recovery, reliable base.
- Cocksfoot — drought-tough, tight ground cover, handles traffic.
- White clover — light N supply, winter bite, boosts sward density.
