Description
Economy Blend is a traditional old favourite seed blend featuring farmer favourite Nui Perennial ryegrass and Haifa/Huia white clover. Formulated for medium rainfall enterprises with in Gippsland and south-west Victoria, it is ideal for over-sowing and broadcasting on extensive hill country. The addition of white clover gives a good bulk feed and nitrogen-fixing ability to aid grass growth.
Nui has medium leaf size and tiller density and was a most commonly known perennial ryegrass sown decades ago. Nui is very versatile and persists well under rotational grazing and set stocking. Nui performs well on a wide range of soil and climatic conditions.
Designed to be a low cost effective blend with older pasture genetics.
