WINTERBITE Plus is our highest quality annual ryegrass seed blend, combining our #1 Rampage Annual Ryegrass with the nitrogen-boosting benefits of Paradana Balansa Clover and Shaftal Persian Clover.

• Rampage Annual Ryegrass: Known for its rapid establishment, high tillering capacity, and outstanding winter-spring growth. Rampage provides excellent dry matter production, making it ideal for intensive grazing and silage.
• Paradana Balansa Clover: A hardy, deep-rooted legume that thrives in various soil conditions. Paradana enhances soil fertility through natural nitrogen fixation, supports strong regrowth after grazing, and contributes to improved animal performance with its high protein content.
• Shaftal Persian Clover: Renowned for its palatability and exceptional feed quality. Shaftal offers prolonged grazing potential with excellent late-season growth, complementing Rampage’s productivity and providing a balanced, nutritious pasture.

WINTERBITE Plus is best sown in well-prepared seedbeds with good soil moisture to ensure rapid establishment. It should be drilled or broadcast at the recommended seeding rate, followed by light rolling to ensure good seed-to-soil contact. Suitable for rotational grazing systems, WINTERBITE Plus performs exceptionally well under frequent grazing, encouraging tillering and dense pasture coverage. Allow the pasture to reach the 3-leaf stage before the first grazing to ensure strong root development. Regular grazing cycles will help maintain feed quality and promote regrowth, while occasional rest periods will enhance the persistence of the clover components. For silage production, harvest at the boot stage of ryegrass growth for optimal yield and nutritional value.
