Top Crop Millet & Rape is our summer specialist multi graze mix of forage millet and forage rape designed to deliver a robust, reliable and good balance of forage through the drier summer months.
With a proven track record across many environments in southern Australia this Top Crop Millet and Rape mix offers farmers flexibility with very good yield potentials from the forage brassicas in cooler conditions & forage millet in hotter, dryer conditions. A fast establishing summer blend, a good balance of fibre and protein, and with strong re-growth potential (subject to moisture availability) this mix offers multi-graze options for all grazing systems with good quality feed in 50-70 days.. The addition of millet to the forage rape minimises the potential animal health risks and increases the insect pest tolerance.
