Description
Uplands Cocksfoot is a fine leaved Mediterranean cocksfoot with high tiller density and a very high level of drought and cold tolerance. It is a winter active and partially summer dormant variety that persists well under grazing, producing a large bulk of high protein, high energy forage that is highly palatable.
Best adapted for sowing in low rainfall temperate areas, Uplands Cocksfoot grows rapidly in autumn to late spring and is very tolerant of aluminium and acid soils.
