11G22 Rapid React Pasture Inoculant is a grass/lucerne/cereal silage inoculant that improves the fermentation and increases the aerobic stability of silage. 11G22 includes Rapid React® aerobic stability technology for improved bunklife and stable feed in seven days.

  • Contains a unique blend of patented strains of Lactobacillus plantarum, Enterococcus faecium and Lactobacillus buchneri to improve silage quality and provide desirable VFA profile for decreased fermentation loss and enhanced aerobic stability
  • Remains cooler for longer when exposed to air and in turn has less aerobic drymatter losses compared to a control group*
  • Best option if looking to minimize stack and feedout losses

11G22 inoculant was tested in 26 grass silage trials from 2000 to 2002. Testing was conducted in Europe and the North America. Multiple locations were used in these studies and drymatter ranges of the trials were from 26% to 45%.Substantially decrease the growth of mould and yeast species responsible for silage spoilage. This reduces heating in the silage and minimises losses during feed-out.

Enhanced Fermentation
Pioneer® brand 11G22 contains next-generation Lactobacillus buchneri to enhance fermentation in grass and whole plant cereal silage and deliver improved fermentation with a fermentation acid profile that minimizes aerobic dry matter losses. 11G22 can be used in grass and whole plant cereals ensiled at the proper maturity in upright, bunker or bag silos and at a dry matter between 30 percent and 42 percent.

Improved Silage Quality and Animal Performance

11G22 offers improved silage quality by providing a low terminal pH and desirable VFA profile for decreased fermentation loss and enhanced aerobic stability, and is formulated to improve animal performance.

Reduces Shrink Loss in Grass Silage

11G22 inoculant reduces shrink losses during feed by more than 3 percent when compared to a control group. It also remains much cooler for longer periods of time when exposed to air.

Longer Time Until Heating
Silage treated with 11G22 had an increased stability time of 68 hours which gives the option to feed out the silage earlier without the risk of it heating.

 


REDUCED AEROBIC DRYMATTER LOSSES

Silage treated with 11G22 retained 6.3% more of the drymatter compared to the control group when exposed to air.
