Description
Methomyl 225 Insecticide is a targeting armyworms, common armyworm, southern armyworm and heliothis in crops such as pastures and maize. Methomyl is most effective when spray schedules are initiated on young insects.
Target insect pests include:
- Common armyworm
- Southern armyworm
- Heliothis
In maize and sweetcorn crops targeting heliothis, apply Methomyl insecticide spray at early silking or when eggs are first seen on silks. Repeat at 2 to 3 day intervals during silking if infestation continues. Use sufficient spray volume to thoroughly cover young developing cobs.
In pasture and legumes crops, it’s critical Methomyl 225 is applied when pests first appear and repeated depending on infestations. Like all insecticide application programmes, Methomyl should be incorporated into an integrated pest management programme.
Methomyl 225 is compatible with most of the commonly used insecticides and fungicides.
